I am now retired (or a kept man) as my wife still works and keeps me in the manner to which I have become accustomed! After Falcon and Sixth Form College, I went to Wits University for 3 years and only passed 1st year. After several Jobs I joined HP, which became HPS and ran their Durban office. I then moved into selling application software and in 1993 bought a software company from HPS (called OpenPro). In 1999 the company we represented in Africa (QAD, Inc) bought us out (I retired and handed the reins over to my wife, Jane Barrett) and in 2000 they offered her a job in the USA and we moved here in July 2000. We became U.S. citizens in 2009.
