Cricket Event – Brisbane, 26/08/2022
Cricket-keen Falconians in Brisbane or nearby, here’s an event you won’t want to miss. 4 great cricketers, including Mluleki Nkala (George Grey 1999) plus good food and drinks. 26th August 2022 at The Gabba.
Some of you may not remember Falcon too well, being madala (bit like me) – well, here’s your opportunity to gasp and say, “That was never there in my day” and “Eish, Falcon students have such an easy life these days etc etc. Peter also managed to get snaps of all the sports boards, updated to 2019 (not much sport in 2020 and 2021 – remember that pandemic!).

Sponsor Gail for Falcon
Gail Harrison – sister of long-standing Falcon staff member, Richard Harrison – and 13 friends are heading to Victoria Falls on 3rd July to run the marathon or half-marathon and are looking for sponsors!
All funds raised will go to the Falcon College Overseas Trust. In her own words, Gail says…
We are self funding a trip to run the Victoria Falls Marathon/ Half marathon and would like to raise some money to support less privileged but gifted children to attend one of Zimbabwe’s best schools. Having known some who have already benefited from this scheme, we feel it would be good to facilitate others to follow in their footsteps.
If you would like to help, click here to visit Gail’s Fundraiser Page.
Of course, this post would not be complete without some pictures of the fantastic location for this event, so here’s the organisers’ trailer video from 2019
Niagara Reunion – September 2022

You may only know him as Black Mamba Man. He’s also Alistair Burton, Tredgold 2004. Here’s his latest song… a clever Zim version of Barbados (remember, Coconut Airways?)…
Help a current Falcon student
While this site is for Falcon Old Boys and Girls, we’ve seen on Falcon social media that a current Falcon student needs a hand…

This excruciating condition requires, initially, blood transfusion and surgical intervention to drain his hip joints and alleviate the serious and potentially life threatening poisoning of his system.
