Howat

I left Falcon in 1964, went to UCT and then to USA, to study Chiropractic at
Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa and graduated in 1970.
Returned to Bulawayo to practice with my father, David in Suburbs at the
Howat Chiropractic Centre. I married Arline in 1973 and have three children -
Josh, Kate and Juliet. I was called up for the army in 1975, and was in the
Selous Scouts, where I became a medic and para trained in Tempe,
Bloemfontein. RSA. I was Chairman of the Board of Governors of Girls
College in Bulawayo during it's inception. I was the President of the
Rhodesian Chiropractic Association (which became Zimbabwe) until 1984
when we left Zimbabwe for the UK.
I bought a practice and formed the Oxford Chiropractic Clinic in January 1985
and practiced there at St Luke's Hospital in Headington, Oxford, until I retired
in June 2022 at the age of 75. Our daughters have taken over the practice.
I formed SOTO Europe - a postgraduate chiropractic teaching organisation in 1986 and it now teaches over 400 chiropractors a year throughout Europe
and the UK. In 1987 I studied to become a Craniopath and following a
revelation by the Lord in 2004, on how to look at the brain and a cranial
adjustment to help treat TBI's ( traumatic brain injuries) I developed the
Howat Protocols of Cranio Fascial Dynamics. Since then, I have been
teaching and researching this revolutionary approach of treating TBI's without
drugs to practitioners across the Globe. This year we introduced the practice
of Bioresonance to both aid the analysis and efficiency of this approach.

We continue to live in Oxford, UK.
