Started IT company in Cape Town in 1994 where still live currently and run the business. Married to ex-Kenyan and Arundel Ros Powles from Mvurwi who obtained a PhD in microbiology at UCT and works at Groote Schuur.Have 2 children, a son studying engineering in Stellenbosch and daughter studying medicine in Cape Town.
