Both my brother Barrie and I went to Falcon. He was there for a full six years starting from the second year that Falcon was open and held many athletic records some of which still stood when I visited Falcon in 1994. I attended eight years later. We were both in Tredgold House. I was only there for three years as the deteriorating situation between Zambia and Zimbabwe was tenuous and made the train ride increasingly difficult. My years there were - I think - 1960 to 1963 but I may be off by a year or so. My brother finished two years before I started. I have spent the majority of my life travelling and surfing my way around the world and lived for 28 years in Hawaii where I helped to found the first professional surfing tour. I very recently moved to Wilmington on the beach in North Carolina so I could be closer to Africa. I plan on participating in anti-poaching efforts for the balance of my life.
