After Falcon, I studied Architecture at U.C.T., spending 4 years in Driekoppen ("Belsen") Res with several other FOBS (eg. John Mowbray, Grenville Dunn, Neville Armstrong, Ron Durbach).
Married my girlfriend Sally Moodie (Baxter Hall) at the end of 1970 after her graduation - and received my B.Arch in 1773.
Joined an architectural practice in Cape Town (John Boyd and Orsmond) which I eventually took over in 1984 - and have been self-employed ever since.
We have a daughter Kerry (also an architect) and a son Dereck (an accountant) and both live in Cape Town with their families 92 grandsons each)
I've been lucky to be able to carry on playing hockey continuously since Under 13, and have represented the SA Over-60' s and Over 65's at Masters World Cups. Hopefully in Tokyo for the Over 75's in 2022...
