After Falcon, 3 years at Uni. of Natal, PMB graduating with a BA in History. Dave Stedman (H), John Woodnutt (O) & Piers (?) Harrington (F) were fellow undergraduates.
In Jan 1974, joined Rhodesian Air Force as a pilot cadet, Commissioned with Wings in Aug 1975 and then served on No's 6, 7 & 8 Squadrons, retiring in 1983 as a Squadron Leader & OC 6 Sqn. Joined the SAAF in 1983 serving at the Jet Flying School, flew in the Silver Falcons and then flew Canberras on 12 Squadron, before becoming a Staff Officer responsible for the Fighter/Bomber Squadrons. Left in 1991 to return to Zim. Farmed and ran an agri supply business before returning to fly in 1997 with MK Airlines and Air Atlanta flying DC8s and B747s. Retired from flying in 2012.
Moved to Australia the same year to join Flight Training Adelaide and currently oversee the multi-crew cooperation training for airline cadets on B737 and AS320 sImulators.
