I am a Chief Engineeer on Offshore pipelay construction vessel (Castoro 7) with an Italian oil company -Saipem part of the ENI group - this part of the company lays subsea pipes for the oil and gas industry. When I left Falcon College in 1968 I joined the Mechant Navy as a Engineering Apprentice with Blue Star Line and eventually left the company 14 years later with a Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency. Progressed to the Oil and Gas industry and have been in this field of construction every since. Retire in 2 years. I am married with 3 grown up children and live in Washington ,Tyne & Wear (Newcastle upon Tyne)
Went to Falcon College between 1963 and 1968.Was in Tredgold House. Lived in Nyasaland and then Malawi when it got its independent in 1964. Mr Turner was the principle and our house master was Rhodes scholar Mr Van Vike
