Left Zimbabwe in 1978 after running Willards Foods. Started a food import business in the UK, listed it on the mainboard of the London Stock Exchange, had a heart attack at the age of 52 and consultant surgeon wife persuaded me to sell the business. Once recovered set up an Executive Coaching business having taken a post-graduate Executive Coaching qualification at Derby University. It now has 67 coaches around the world. Also became President of Andros UK - makers of the brand Bonne Maman - now in the top 100 food manufacturing companies in the UK. Sat on the Counsel of The Institute of Directors for 9 years. Awarded Chevalier de l'ordre National du Mérite by President Mitterand of France in 1995 and an MBE in the Queen's honour list for services to Business in 2015.
