Shaun Neil Evans

Shaun was born to Ray and Eleanor Evans in Ruwa, Zimbabwe on 20th April 1966 as the third of four children.

He attended Ruwa Primary School, Ruzawi School and then Falcon College, which he left in 1983. He went on to attend the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, UK.

He married Kate in 1989 and returned to Zimbabwe to run his own farm in Bindura. He had three sons, Scott (21), Dean (19 and Ross (13).

He was an avid bass fisherman and golfer, representing Zimbabwe for both, and was known throughout Zimbabwe for his good heart and his big laugh!

At the time of his death, he was running his own company, importing fish, shellfish and cheese from the UK with his wife and two eldest sons.

He passed away after a short illness, surrounded by family in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 16th June 2011.
